Stage 1 baby milk, the infant formula for babies from birth to 6 months  

Breast milk is the ideal and natural food for babies. The WHO recommends exclusive breastfeeding during the first 6 months of life and as a supplement to a varied diet until the child is 2 years old. Health professionals encourage continuing to breastfeed for as long as the mother and child wish. When breastfeeding is not possible or not desired, Stage 1 baby milk is the only suitable alternative for babies from birth up to 6 months. If you cannot or do not wish to breastfeed, ask your pediatrician or healthcare professional for advice; they will recommend an infant formula that will meet your baby's specific nutritional needs.  

Why is Stage 1 baby milk the only “milk” suitable for babies from 0 to 6 months when they are not breastfed? 

During a baby's first 6 months, their digestive system and kidneys are still immature. Their growth is rapid, and their nutritional needs are very specific. Stage 1 formulas are specially formulated to meet these needs, all in compliance with strict regulations for infant preparations. No other food can replace breast milk during this period.  

Breastfeeding and infant formula: two compatible approaches  

Many parents practice mixed feeding, combining breastfeeding and bottle-feeding.
