Tribute to grandmothers… to all grandmothers!

Hommage aux grands-mères… à toutes les grands-mères !

When you ask a child: what's the most important thing in life after a mom? Well, they answer... And after a dad?... After a baby dog? There you go! They all answer unanimously: "my grandma"!!! And it's true that a grandma is essential. But is there just one type of grandma? No madam, there are grandmas for everyone. Tribute!

The cake granny

Surrounded by kids who aren't yet worried about their cholesterol levels, the doting grandma has always owned a deep fryer. Capable of making any compromise to please her little ones, she's a kind of everyday Santa Claus. Present, reassuring, generous, and rather permissive, she distributes hugs and kisses with every turn. She's a rock of love for her grandchildren, who sometimes find in her the availability they don't always find in their parents.

The Strict Granny

The "strict" grandmother adores her grandchildren, of course, but is afraid of spoiling them too much and turning them into unbearable rascals. Above all, she feels invested with the vital mission of perfecting their education. She would rather set herself on fire in Place Vendôme than let the flesh of her flesh... of her flesh put her feet on the seats of the metro, her elbows on the table, or not finish her plate. Otherwise, it's an ocean of love, and she's just bought a deep fryer.

The modern granny

Have you ever seen a video of a skateboarding bulldog online? No? She has. Always connected to her grandchildren via Facebook, Twitter (10 followers, 4 of which are still alive), and Instagram, she's often lol or even lol and easily understands pre-teen texts. Practical. Well-anchored in contemporary life, she manages to be this torrent of love mixing authenticity and modernity. A deep fryer? Yeah, big guy!

The beautiful granny

Always dressed to the nines (and we're not talking about a facelift here!), this grandmother doesn't look like Grandma Nova. Fresh as a spa, she even gets hit on at Naturalia where she's mistaken for the mother of her dear toddlers. In fact, it's thanks to her that hunting for the organic label on labels has become the national sport of cousins on Wednesdays at Grandma's! A source of love, very sensitive to aesthetics in general, she will pass on her taste for beauty to her grandchildren and will occasionally nibble a few fries from their plates.

The "local" granny

Ah, vacations at Grandma's! Eggs collected directly from the hen's rump! Fresh milk, herbes de Provence, eels that are decapitated with a heavy chop on the kitchen table! Nothing can replace that Grandma who embodies a true art of living, the one who takes you to the market, awakens you to colors, flavors, the good taste of organic products and old-fashioned recipes, the teller of wonderful stories, the maker of jams, the giver of love and the burner of plantar warts. And if she doesn't have a deep fryer, she has a big pot. And oil.

The adventurous granny

If you hear the roaring engine of a Harley-Davidson Bad Boy as you leave elementary school, it's her. Always eager for experiences and culture, she shares her latest crush on Thailand with her grandchildren by preparing them a delicious Tom Yam Kun. And if this tornado of love prepares them fries from time to time, she'll add a pinch of paprika.

The multifaceted granny

The granny who has a little bit of all these grannies ;-) From time to time, representing nature and what it offers us, she can also take out her secret box of treats when the rain plays havoc. A big fan of cruises, she voluntarily swaps her travel bag (always ready for last-minute plans), for her mushroom basket...

In short, you'll have understood, we adore grannies and our little ones even more! And that's why, despite their big hearts and their microscopic flaws, and the fact that we have to give them a seat on public transport ;-) well, we love them all. Oh yes! And for fries too!

NB: A little nod to the grandpas we don't forget! The poor things don't have their party... so we're sending them lots of kisses anyway ;)
