How to choose the right bottle for your baby?

Glass or plastic baby bottle: it's up to you!
At Dodie, we've developed two ranges of baby bottles , one in plastic and one in glass (so no one's left out!). These two very different materials each have their own advantages: robust, durable, and resistant to thermal shock, the pharmaceutical-grade glass bottle has been a benchmark for longevity and strength for over 60 years. For the plastic bottle, it's primarily its ease of use and lightness that make the difference. No need to worry, in addition to being unbreakable, Dodie plastic bottles are, of course, BPA-free* and BPA-free. Choosing between glass and plastic is therefore primarily a matter of personal preference!
Little by little, the bottle grows…
Small, medium, or large: the right bottle is the one that matches your child's size. So, start with small bottles: they hold 150 ml and are perfect as a follow-on to breastfeeding. Then, opt for a medium-sized bottle (270 ml) until your baby is 6 months old. After that, you can easily switch to the large model (330 ml) when you start introducing solid foods. It's simple: the older your child gets, the larger their bottle should be to meet their needs for formula .
