Why buy organic products?
Why buy organic products?
For Good Goût, choosing organic is a common-sense approach. "If you are what you eat," then let's not swallow just anything. Our commitment to organic farming is also based on our responsibility to the planet: preserving our environment, our resources, biodiversity, and animal welfare.
- Organic is the guarantee of:
Environmentally friendly agriculture without the use of pesticides - Free-range farming that respects animal welfare and their eating habits (isn't a chicken that has roamed in the wild better than a battery-reared chicken? Aren't the eggs more yellow when the hen has been able to feed on real earthworms?)
- Preserving the biodiversity of species.
- The absence of GMOs.
For Good Goût, choosing organic is a choice for the future, combining public health issues and environmental impact.
Does organic necessarily mean it's good?
Does organic necessarily mean it's good?
Not necessarily! That's why Good Goût strives to offer parents sumptuous and original recipes without compromising on taste! This involves a very strict raw material purchasing policy.
What is an organic product?
What is an organic product?
The term organic farming refers to agriculture that does not use synthetic chemicals. This means excluding the use of pesticides, GMOs, ionization, chemical additives, and medications. In short, all natural! Animal welfare and the preservation of biodiversity are also two aspects of organic farming.
Is your packaging recyclable?
Is your packaging recyclable?
All our products should be disposed of in the recycling bin! The recycling bin is there to help you recycle materials that can be used to make new items. By disposing of your packaging in the designated bin, you are actively contributing to the second life of Good Goût products!
Your water bottles are made of plastic, it's super polluting!
Your water bottles are made of plastic, it's super polluting!
It's plastic, indeed, but in accordance with current regulations, it doesn't contain bisphenol A or phthalates, and it's less "energy-intensive" than small glass jars: ultra-thin, the flexible pouch needs half the heating time of a glass jar during the sterilization phase. It also requires half as many trucks due to its small footprint. That's a lot of energy saved... and preserved taste for the finished product!
Without sugar, there is no taste?

Without sugar, there is no taste?
At Good Goût, we offer you the opportunity to introduce your baby's budding palate from a very young age by showcasing and selecting delicious recipes with textures and nutritional benefits suited to your budding gourmet.
On the baby side, we do not add sugar to our recipes, as is often the case with other biscuits (there is an average of 25 to 33g of sugar per 100g for classic baby biscuits). The sugar naturally present in the fruit in our squares or mini-cakes provides the necessary sweetness and respects the right balance for your child's needs.
We invite you to give our biscuits a try with your baby, and don't hesitate to try them yourself! You'll discover a delicious cereal flavor with a delicate hint of fruit on the palate, all with less than 1 gram of sugar per serving. So that pleasure rhymes with balance!

How can your products last so long?
How can your products last so long?
Our flexible pouches are sterilized and our pouches are pasteurized: this allows our products to be stored at room temperature for several months after their manufacture. Our products require much less sterilization and pasteurization of the ingredients than small jars. In the end, just as much flavor is preserved, and more taste!
Can I freeze your products?
Can I freeze your products?
We don't necessarily recommend it in order to preserve all the flavor of our recipes, but it is entirely possible to freeze our products provided you follow the following rules:
You should not freeze the bags or pouches directly, as their structure would be damaged by freezing. Instead, you can transfer the contents into a container, such as a Tupperware container, or better yet, a glass container.
From a taste perspective, we recommend consuming your products within 2 to 3 months of freezing, as this process causes the water molecules to crystallize. In short, the longer you leave a product in the freezer, the less tasty it will be!
And above all, we remind you that you should never refreeze a product that has already been defrosted!
Your bags won't reseal. How can you preserve their contents and avoid waste?
Your bags won't reseal. How can you preserve their contents and avoid waste?
To preserve the taste qualities of our purees, we recommend pouring them into a container (bowl, Tupperware) and placing them in the refrigerator under cellophane or aluminum foil.
Our products can be stored for 48 hours after opening. You can also freeze our products by placing the container in the freezer, for up to 2 to 3 months to guarantee their flavor!
Finally, if you were feeling a bit peckish and decided to finish the Good Goût puree yourself, we promise not to bring it back ;-)
How and how long can I store your mini rice cakes?
How and how long can I store your mini rice cakes?
Refer to the best before date indicated on your bag.
Once opened, we recommend consuming our mini-cakes within 5 days: they will be even more delicious!
And to keep them even more delicious, be sure to close the bag tightly or place them in an airtight container.

What are the nutritional needs of children aged 0 to 3?
What are the nutritional needs of children aged 0 to 3?
Between the ages of 0 and 3, your child has specific nutritional needs. Indeed, their digestive functions are immature, so they have a different metabolism than adults. In addition, their growth will be spectacular during this period. They will quadruple their birth weight and double their height! According to medical recommendations from the SFAE (French Child Food Sector), for harmonious growth, it is essential to provide your child with a personalized diet until the age of 3 to meet their physiological specificities. You can count on your doctor or pediatrician who will be able to guide you step by step, but also on specific baby foods that are an excellent nutritional solution for your little one. This is why there are specific regulations for products intended for children under 3 years old. These include limits for proteins, lipids, salt, etc., but also a large number of contaminants (pesticides, endocrine disruptors, heavy metals).
Is mango really recommended at 4 months?
Is mango really recommended at 4 months?
All cooked fruits can be given from 4 months. This is the case with our Good Gourdes: the fruits are pre-cooked, before being blended and put into pouches in the form of compotes (no added sugar)!
However, forewarned is forearmed, and we recommend that you consult your pediatrician or general practitioner if your child has a developed sensitivity to allergens.
Do cereals make you fat?
Do cereals make you fat?
Often misused and sometimes suffering from negative preconceptions, cereals nevertheless have their place in your baby's balanced and varied diet provided that they are chosen without sugar, which is the case with our cereals, and that they are given in controlled quantities. From 4 months, 1 to 2 tablespoons of gluten-free infant cereals per day with breast or infant milk, and from 6 months, 3 tablespoons of infant cereals can be added daily to the bottle as part of a balanced diet. They constitute a new source of energy and contribute to the awakening of taste, by offering new flavors and textures.
Why give cereals?
Why give cereals?
Cereals are an essential part of a diverse and balanced diet. They allow you to discover different tastes and textures and are ideal for starting solid foods and transitioning from bottle to spoon. They contain complex carbohydrates that provide energy and are an ideal way to introduce gluten.
How and when should I give cereal to my baby?
How and when should I give cereal to my baby?
Our cereals can be eaten with the milk of your choice (or water), hot or cold, as porridge in a bowl or in a bottle, in the morning or afternoon as a snack, or in the evening for dinner.
For a 210ml bottle of milk, we recommend adding 3 tablespoons of cereal. For a bowl of porridge, add 1 tablespoon of cereal to 3 tablespoons of milk.
To vary the pleasures, you can personalize your porridges and add a little vegetable or fruit puree, and even add small pieces of ripe fruit or cooked vegetables if your child has already started with pieces.
Why pouches with 2 fruits?
Why pouches with 2 fruits?
All cooked fruits can be given from the start of food diversification, i.e. between 4 and 6 months (according to WHO recommendations).
On the other hand, it is recommended to introduce fruits and vegetables one by one (better understanding of tastes, identification of allergic reactions, etc.). This is why we have developed a whole unique range of pureed fruits and vegetables "all alone".
Once you've completed this introductory step, you can move on to recipes that combine several fruits or vegetables (while still trying to preserve the nature of the ingredients present for a greater diversity of flavors!).
However, some fruits cannot be offered "on their own." Red fruits, for example, are too liquid, others too thick (quince, for example), and most yellow fruits are too acidic.
That's why we decided to combine them to introduce babies to these new tastes:
- Strawberry Banana with 50% strawberries
- Apple Quince with 30% quince
- Peach Pear with 55% peaches and 45% pears
- Apple Fig with 30% figs
- Apricot Banana, with 60% apricots
This stage of "combined" fruits seems to us to be an evolution compared to the apprehension of the first fruits "on their own". However, if you started your baby's food diversification around 4 months and your baby is now ready to discover new flavors, there is no particular contraindication to giving them these new recipes. Once again, all cooked fruits can be given from the beginning of food diversification! This is why we suggest them "from 4 months".
Are the bras suitable for my child's growth?
Are the bras suitable for my child's growth?
At Good Goût, we make it a point of honor to offer your child products that taste great and contribute to their development. That's why we work based on a dual specification: current regulations relating to infant nutrition and the nutritional recommendations of our panel of independent experts. All our recipes have been developed with this in mind and guarantee that your baby's needs are fully met.
Finally, our 90g format respects the recommendation of our panel of independent experts in infant nutrition on the quantity of protein recommended for a portion (namely 50g per batch); but also your child's appetite thanks to the addition of ingredients (fruits and cereals) contributing to the feeling of satiety.
Does the weight of your meals meet the needs of babies?
Does the weight of your meals meet the needs of babies?
A small Good Goût dish weighs 190g, which is in line with pediatricians' recommendations and meets the nutritional needs of babies aged 6 to 12 months and 12-15 months.
Can you add fat to your dishes?
Can you add fat to your dishes?
The regulatory specifications for infant nutrition are very demanding. They specifically regulate three nutritional aspects of the dishes that brands can offer:
- Sodium (that's why we never add it).
- Proteins.
- Lipids.
Good Goût, in addition to these regulatory criteria, has imposed the constraint of having a "taste / texture / smell / colors" rendering as close as possible to homemade.
Regarding fat, we do not recommend adding any because it would mean that the dish eaten by the baby would have a fat content higher than the regulatory limit. Indeed, to take the example of our Duck Corn recipe, duck is not a lean meat, the recipe is composed to be just below this limit. This is why we did not add any.
However, it is indeed important to keep in mind that our babies generally eat far too much protein and not enough fat. This is a finding that is unanimously agreed upon, even by the French Pediatric Society.
Parents can therefore add a drizzle of oil to their baby's meals without worry, if possible by varying the oils, which have specific properties (the most balanced being rapeseed oil). They can also obtain the oil blend specially formulated for babies by Quintessence.
Please also note that we occasionally speak out on this topic through our own communication media: Facebook page, "Parents' Corner" on our website, etc. This allows us to raise awareness among parents about these aspects that are often difficult for them to understand (the environment tells them all day long not to give their children too much "fat" in particular!). You can read an article on the subject: Fat for babies? Not bad for your health, on the contrary...
Do your products meet the child's nutritional needs?
Do your products meet the child's nutritional needs?
Yes, to develop perfectly nutritionally balanced meals, we relied on the expertise of two major players in the field of nutrition: our panel of independent infant nutrition experts - and the European regulation on infant nutrition, which defines a very precise framework for all the nutritional profiles of recipes (proteins, dietary fiber, salt, etc.).
My child doesn't want to eat certain vegetables?
My child doesn't want to eat certain vegetables?
Your child is not an isolated case: natural preferences mean that sometimes you have to offer the same food 8 to 10 times before your baby accepts it. Take heart!
To meet this demand, Good Goût offers guaranteed organic products that taste good and are similar to homemade products.
Each dish celebrates one vegetable, just one, revealing its full flavor and texture. The featured vegetable represents at least 60% of the recipe. It's the best way we've found to introduce our babies to the true flavor of vegetables, without drowning the taste in liters of water or systematically potato-based mixes!

Can I give a 6 month old meal to my 12 month old?
Can I give a 6 month old meal to my 12 month old?
The 6-8-12 and 15 month markers correspond to the texture we give to our purees: our 6 month carrot chicken has a smooth, ground texture, while our 15 month risotto contains small, melting pieces to teach your child to eat like a grown-up!
You can therefore give one of our 6-month-old purees to your 10-month-old child, ensuring that their nutritional needs are met throughout the day. The 6- and 8-month-old purees contain 190g, while our 12- and 15-month-old purees offer 30g more for larger stomachs, in order to meet the nutritional specifications.
What are the benefits of a portion of squares?
What are the benefits of a portion of squares?
Thanks to the good nutritional balance of our squares and their low sugar content (less than 1 gram per portion), 1 portion of 3 biscuits is quite similar to a delicious crust of bread, with a fruity taste too! They therefore have the advantage of not disturbing the daily nutritional balance and can be enjoyed as soon as a little hunger strikes! ;)
From what age can my child eat your mini rice cakes?
From what age can my child eat your mini rice cakes?
You can give rice cakes to your children only if:
He sits up in a high chair by himself
He is used to eating bread and dishes with pieces
He already has two teeth.
So no problem for a child of 10 months and over, the latter having their first teeth around the age of 6 months.
In any case, it is imperative that you do not leave your child unattended when eating rice cakes and that they sit upright.
How are your products specific for my child?

Can you give mango to a child before 8 months?
Can you give mango to a child before 8 months?
Many doctors advise against exotic fruits due to allergen risks. However, it's important to distinguish between raw and cooked fruits. All cooked fruits—which is the case with our Good Gourdes, due to pasteurization—can be eaten from 4 months old. If you or your child has allergies, talk to your pediatrician.
Is it really recommended to give cereals with gluten from 6 months?
Is it really recommended to give cereals with gluten from 6 months?
Pediatricians don't all make the same recommendations, given that each child has a unique allergy. However, everyone agrees that contact with gluten is safe if introduced during solid food diversification, between 4 and 7 months. Therefore, you can give rye, barley, wheat, or oats as early as 4 months. If you or your child has an allergy, talk to your pediatrician.

If you started weaning your baby around 4 months and your baby is now ready to discover new flavors, there are no particular contraindications to giving them these two new recipes. All cooked fruits can be given from the beginning of weaning!
Isn't coconut dangerous for babies?
Isn't coconut dangerous for babies?
Good Goût products comply with the dual specifications for infant nutrition and organic regulations. Our organic coconut powder, obtained by grinding and drying coconut flesh, is therefore perfectly suited to your baby and can be consumed from 8 months. However, if in doubt, do not hesitate to consult your doctor.
Why do you put an "s" in sugars?
Why do you put an "s" in sugars?
The legal denomination concerning carbohydrates as well as the nutritional codes in force define sugar in the singular, as table sugar, otherwise known as sucrose, and only as such. Sugars in the plural designate all simple sugars including those in fruit (glucose, fructose, lactose, maltose, galactose). Thus our squares contain less than 1 gram of sugars per portion, that is to say less than 1 gram of simple sugars.
At what age should we start diversifying our diet?
At what age should we start diversifying our diet?
Over time, recommendations regarding weaning have changed significantly. According to the latest studies and regulations, it's recommended to start weaning your child between 4 and 6 months old. Want to test your knowledge on the subject? Go here!
When should allergens be introduced?
When should allergens be introduced?
It is possible and desirable to introduce all foods to normal children from the age of 4 months, including those known to be the most allergenic (milk, eggs, peanuts, fish, wheat, etc.). But for those who have an early allergy or are at risk of having one, there is no question of subjecting them to "wild tolerance induction" without prior allergy assessment, therefore without obtaining expert advice.
We invite you to consult your pediatrician.
What is wheat gluten?
What is wheat gluten?
Wheat gluten is a protein naturally present in wheat. It's thanks to it that your baker's bread is so puffy! At Good Goût, we use a tiny bit of it in our delicious tomato mini-baguettes recipe to achieve that famous melt-in-the-mouth, crunchy texture that will delight the taste buds of your budding gourmet!
Isn't 120g a bit too much for my 4 month old baby?
Isn't 120g a bit too much for my 4 month old baby?
A 120 gram bottle theoretically meets the needs of a 6 month old child.
But don't panic! Thanks to its airtight cap, you can close the bottle and keep it for 24 hours: ultimately, you only need to give your child 2 servings over two days.
How do you prepare your recipes?

It's quite simple. We work hand in hand with a panel of independent infant nutrition experts, who submit strict specifications to us. Do your Brassés contain baby milk? Why?
Our baby food does not contain infant milk. At Good Goût, we make it a point of honor to offer your child products that taste good and contribute to their development. That's why we worked based on a dual specification: current regulations relating to infant nutrition and the nutritional recommendations of our panel of independent professionals. All our recipes were developed on this basis and are adapted to your baby's needs. Thus, our baby food is the perfect balance of yogurt, fruit, and cereal. Indeed, in addition to their sweetness, fruit provides natural sugar. Cereals, for their part, provide creaminess and flavor to awaken your child's taste buds. They are more interesting nutritionally and taste-wise than the starch often used.
And the little Good Taste touch is the addition of original ingredients like vanilla so that your child expands their palette of flavors every day.

In most of our recipes, we feature one ingredient (at least 60% of the total composition). For example, you'll find 99.9% mango in our Good Mango pouche and 88% butternut squash in our Butternut Squash Lamb dish.
Flavors preserved by an ultra-short list of ingredients and without the systematic addition of cooking water, potatoes, or starch.
This is the best way we've found to introduce your child to good things!

What is the difference between stirred and classic yogurt?
What is the difference between stirred and classic yogurt?
Our Brassés use yogurt and are the perfect balance of yogurt, fruit, and cereal. This allows us to offer you balanced organic recipes adapted to your child's needs, according to the specifications of our panel of independent infant nutrition experts and current regulations. For example, the presence of fruit puree adds a sweet taste to our stirred pouches, saving you from adding sugar. Furthermore, the only reason they cannot be called Yogurt is the fact that the pasteurization of fermented milk, which is necessary for product safety, removes the lactic ferments usually contained in yogurt.

What does multi-grain mean for your Squares?
What does multi-grain mean for your Squares?
Our squares are a blend of several grains and legumes: rice, quinoa, and buckwheat (for the grains) and chickpeas (for the legumes). The advantage of blending these flours is that it provides a complete and varied nutritional profile to satisfy your baby's hunger pangs without making you feel guilty or disrupting your child's nutritional balance: like a delicious piece of bread, with a fruity taste. So there's no reason to deprive yourself!
Why eat squares rather than ladyfingers?
Why eat squares rather than ladyfingers?
Our squares are crunchy, melt-in-your-mouth multi-grain cookies, guaranteed organic, with a delicious fruit flavor and less than 1 gram of sugar per serving (1 serving = 3 squares). They contain a delicious blend of cereals, milk, and fruit, the three key pillars of a balanced diet.
Ladyfingers, on the other hand, are often made up of (among other things) sugars, a single type of cereal, eggs, and vegetable oil. This recipe, while seemingly simple, is less nutritionally complete than our squares. Finally, ladyfingers contain a lot of sugar. On average, for 100g of ladyfingers, you'll find between 25g and 33g, which is 4 times more than our Squares.
Therefore, for all those little hunger pangs, to chew and help your baby's teeth come through, it is better to eat a portion of square rather than ladyfingers.

Each cereal present in our recipes has its own nutritional specificities which make them complementary to each other, for a complete and gluten-free intake.
Plus, our squares contain less than 1 gram of sugar per serving. This means we don't add any sugar to our recipes because the small amount of natural sugars in the fruit provides the sweetness you need and balances your child's needs.
Our squares therefore have a complete nutritional profile without the excess sugars, all with an ideal texture for chewing, sucking and satisfying all your baby's little hunger pangs.

What is the difference between 4, 6 and 8 month cereals?
We have designed an evolving range to serve our mission of awakening tastes.
The Oat Wheat Rice blend, suitable for babies from 6 months, allows you to introduce gluten with a gentle blend of cereals. Indeed, to limit the risk of allergies in adulthood, it is recommended to introduce gluten from the 6th month.
Strawberry Muesli, available from 8 months, is a blend of 7 cereals that allows you to introduce a little fantasy with strawberries. It's still possible to offer Oat Wheat Rice after 8 months to vary the pleasures.

We used milk in our recipe not only for its nutritional properties but also for its effect on the texture. Indeed, the addition of milk ensures a crunchy and melt-in-the-mouth texture so your baby can suck and chew to their heart's content while gently helping their little teeth come through.
Why are cereals and legumes complementary to each other?
Why are cereals and legumes complementary to each other?
The organic grain and legume flours in our squares complement each other because they provide a variety of nutritional elements that make them a complete recipe. Rice and buckwheat flours provide complex carbohydrates (the latter being rich in soluble fiber with anti-diarrheal properties). Quinoa flour contains iron, magnesium, and calcium. Finally, chickpea flour is very rich in insoluble fiber.
In addition to its cereal and fruity taste, this recipe therefore has a nutritional profile adapted to the needs of the baby without the excess sugars.
Is there sugar in your squares?
Is there sugar in your squares?
Absolutely. There are complex carbohydrates (or slow sugars) provided by our cereals: rice, chickpea, quinoa, or buckwheat flours, complementary cereals that provide long-lasting energy. Our recipes also contain simple sugars (fast sugars) naturally present in fruits (mango, banana, and coconut), which provide the necessary sweetness and respect the right balance for your child's needs.
However, we do not add any added sugars as a raw material. Therefore, our squares contain less than 1 gram of sugar per serving, which is very low compared to classic ladyfingers.
How is the texture of tomato mini baguettes suitable for 10-month-old babies?
How is the texture of tomato mini baguettes suitable for 10-month-old babies?
The texture of our tomato mini-baguettes resembles that of a melting breadstick. At first, your baby will encounter a slightly crunchy texture, then, upon contact with their saliva, our mini-baguettes will become softer and melt in their mouth. An ideal texture, specifically designed for your little one to chew and suck on to gently get their teeth out! To know if your baby is ready to bite into our delicious recipe, remember to follow these few instructions: they must be able to sit up unaided in their high chair, be used to eating bread and dishes with small pieces, and must have at least 2 teeth. It is also imperative that your baby remains under constant adult supervision during meals. If in doubt, do not hesitate to consult your pediatrician.
Why do your mini baguettes contain tomato powder?
Why do your mini baguettes contain tomato powder?
Tomato powder is like a guaranteed organic tomato puree, but it doesn't contain any water. The advantage is that it guarantees a crispy texture to our delicious mini baguettes. To make it, we use sun-drenched Italian tomatoes with a unique flavor to delight your little one's taste buds!

Good Goût is for all babies, even those with intolerances or allergies. We've developed many lactose-free and gluten-free recipes, for example (the list is available here). We've also thought of you, the parents, by offering lactose-free and cow's milk protein-free packs so you too can shop in just a few clicks.
Please note that on our website, you can sort by allergen, for example, fish-free, lactose-free, or gluten-free. This will give you a complete list of products that do not use these ingredients.

For Good Goût products, the recipes contain only the ingredients detailed in the ingredient list on the back of the packaging. Therefore, there is no milk in recipes that do not indicate it. You can easily find all our dairy-free products by checking "dairy-free" in the allergens section of our product page. Because intolerance and allergy require different attention, and many of you have asked us to go further, we have compiled a list of our recipes without milk or TRACES of milk: it's here!

Why do you have flexible packaging for your dishes?
Why do you have flexible packaging for your dishes?
At the beginning of our adventure, we wondered for a long time whether we should put our products in small jars. Until we listed all the advantages of flexible packaging:
More delicious: Our products require less sterilization of the ingredients than small jars: when they arrive, just as many flavors are preserved!
Lighter: And especially in our bags/suitcases/cupboards which are often on the verge of implosion.
More energy-efficient: Our flexible pouches use less plastic (5g compared to 12g for a small plastic pot) and less energy, since they require half the heating time during sterilization. Our products also generate less packaging, require less logistical conditioning, and generate a lower weight in waste!
Stronger: No risk of breakage when you travel with our products. Your handbag will appreciate it.
You talk about eco-design, what do you mean?
You talk about eco-design, what do you mean?
By definition, eco-design consists of integrating the impact on the environment from the product design phase.
The objective is therefore to combine several design choices in order to reduce the impact on the environment at different stages of the product's life.
Example for our flexible bags:
Sourcing: guaranteed organic ingredients = 0 chemicals used in their cultivation.
Transport: 10 to 30x fewer trucks to deliver an empty flexible bag than a jar.
Manufacturing: 2x less energy to sterilize a flexible bag than a jar.
Consumption: 2x less weight of household waste for a flexible bag and 5x that of a glass jar.
---
Furthermore, all our products should be disposed of in the recycling bin! The recycling bin is there to help you recycle materials that can be used to make new items. By disposing of your packaging in the designated bin, you are actively contributing to the second life of Good Goût products!
Please note: although glass is recyclable, it is more energy-intensive than our flexible pouches when sterilized. This means that the finished product is both energy-saving and taste-preserving! Furthermore, our flexible pouches do not contain Bisphenol A* or phthalates.
*In accordance with current regulations.

Do your water bottles contain aluminum?
Do your water bottles contain aluminum?
For the packaging of our packs, all the complexes we use are free of endocrine disruptors (bisphenol A* - phthalates). Our pouches do indeed contain aluminum, but please note that the aluminum "layer" is not in contact with the fruit / vegetable puree but sandwiched between 2 other layers that do not themselves contain aluminum. This aluminum layer is very useful as an oxygen barrier in particular and allows us to guarantee the very good preservation of our products. *In accordance with current regulations.

There is plastic in your packaging!
For each of our packaging (in gourds and flexible bags) we use a complex of 3 different layers, each with a specific role:
- 2 layers of PET, or polyethylene, which act as a barrier to both oxygen and light. These "barriers" allow us to guarantee the very good preservation of our products.
- 1 layer of PP, or polypropylene, which is in contact with the puree.
All of the complexes we use are free from endocrine disruptors (bisphenol A* - phthalates). *In accordance with current regulations.
The use of these formats (pouch and flexible sachets) allows us to subject the products to much less significant heat treatments than for small standard glass or plastic pots... while preserving the taste and nutritional quality!

Does your milk contain taurine? What about additives?
Does your milk contain taurine? What about additives?
We do not have taurine in our milk. Because there is no clear scientific consensus demonstrating the added value of this ingredient from a nutritional point of view. Regarding additives, our milk contains them in the technical sense of the term, like all infant milks. The main purpose of these "additives" is to fortify the milk with vitamins and minerals that are essential for babies.
How to ensure weaning after breastfeeding?
How to ensure weaning after breastfeeding?
Breastfeeding is the ideal and natural food for infants. However, for some women, mixed feeding allows them to adapt to their constraints and desires. The independent website mpedia, created by the French Association of Ambulatory Pediatrics, with the Ministry of Health as its institutional partner, guides you step by step through this process. We particularly recommend consulting their article "Mixed Breastfeeding in Practice." For the transition from one brand of infant formula to another, we invite you to seek advice from a healthcare professional.
When should I switch to follow-up milk? What is the reason?
When should I switch to follow-up milk? What is the reason?
Breastfeeding is the ideal diet for infants. The World Health Organization recommends breastfeeding exclusively until the child is 6 months old and, in addition to introducing a varied diet, until the child is 2 years old or older. When women cannot or do not want to breastfeed, the French Pediatric Society recommends infant formula until the child is 3 years old.
Between 4 and 6 months, the diversification of baby's diet begins. Milk is no longer their only source of nutrition; other foods now also contribute to meeting their needs so that they continue to grow well. The composition of follow-on milk is therefore modified compared to 1st-age milk to support the diversification of the child's diet while meeting their needs from 6 months.
However, before using our 2nd age milk, we invite you to contact the healthcare professional who is monitoring your child.
From what age can we give cow's milk?
From what age can we give cow's milk?
Introducing cow's milk, as a replacement for 3rd stage milk, is recommended at 3 years of age when the child's diet is well diversified. However, there is no need to make this change on the day of the child's 3rd birthday; consumption of 3rd stage milk can be continued afterward; there are no contraindications.
Whole milk or semi-skimmed milk next? How long should we give infant formula and then what do we switch to?
Whole milk or semi-skimmed milk next? How long should we give infant formula and then what do we switch to?
When mothers cannot or do not want to breastfeed, infant formulas are recommended by the French Pediatric Society until the child is 3 years old (10). They allow for better coverage of their nutritional needs. Their lipid levels and their iron and vitamin D contents are significantly higher than those of cow's milk and the protein intake is reduced by half! (3)
The introduction of cow's milk, as a replacement for 3rd age milk, is recommended at 3 years old when the child's diet is well diversified (5). However, there is no need to make this change on the day of the child's 3rd birthday; consumption of 3rd age milk can be continued afterward; there are no contraindications.
There is no recommendation on what type of milk to give next; the important thing is that your child has a varied diet with a variety of dairy products. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to contact your healthcare professional.
Is it normal for my baby to be constipated after I switch to a Biostime product?
Is it normal for my baby to be constipated after I switch to a Biostime product?
A baby's tummy can be sensitive to changes in environment and diet. There may be a reaction that indicates your baby is not tolerating the sudden change in diet. When you start a new formula, you can help your newborn adjust by introducing it gradually. This will give their digestive system time to do its work and get used to the new formula. For more specific information regarding your child, we recommend consulting a healthcare professional.
At what temperature should milk be given from the age of 3? Cold, warm, hot?
At what temperature should milk be given from the age of 3? Cold, warm, hot?
Between 1 and 3 years, 3rd stage milk can be given at room temperature or slightly heated using a bottle warmer or by passing it under hot tap water so that it is at a temperature of around 37 degrees like breast milk.
No particular recommendation from 3 years old (it's up to you to judge according to your child's preferences)

Why are Biostime Multivitamin gummies not recommended for people suffering from thyroid disorders?
Biostime Multivitamin gummies are not recommended for these people because they contain iodine, which is involved in regulating thyroid hormones. Indeed, 70% of the iodine present in the body is found in the thyroid, the organ responsible for hormone production. In cases of thyroid disorders, dietary iodine intake is strictly controlled, and it is not recommended to consume it through a dietary supplement.

Are there 330ml glass baby bottles? Why don't you make 330ml glass baby bottles?
Are there 330ml glass baby bottles? Why don't you make 330ml glass baby bottles?
We do not manufacture glass baby bottles larger than 270ml for safety reasons.
Among the two main reasons:
A full 330ml glass bottle would be too heavy for baby to use without a significant risk of falling.
Glass baby bottles can break. However, babies old enough to take 330ml bottles are, in most cases, children who are able to move around and take a bottle on their own.
As a reminder, as we indicate in our instructions for use, glass baby bottles must be used under adult supervision.

How do the 3-speed systems in the round teat range work?
The flow rate varies depending on the size of the slit at the end of the teat. The larger the slit, the more liquid can pass through, and therefore the higher the flow rate.
It is possible to adjust the opening of the slit. Depending on the orientation of the teat, the slit will be more or less open. This makes it possible to adapt to your baby's sucking rhythm in a single movement by turning the bottle.
