Good Goût

Who is Good Goût ?

Good Goût is a young company, born from the inspiration of a demanding father and mother, passionate about good things and determined to offer other parents small dishes without any compromise on taste.
Surrounded by a talented Chef and a team of nutrition professionals, the Good Goût team offers a range of organic baby products with a strong promise: to put taste back on our babies' plates.

How are you different from the competition?

Good Goût was born from a challenge: parents engaged in the battle of taste! Good Goût was born from the observation that many parents were dissatisfied with the baby food on offer! The primary cause of dissatisfaction expressed: taste, deemed "bad," "too bland," or "always the same."
To meet this demand, Good Goût offers organic products that taste great and are similar to homemade products. Each of our products is made with ingredients found in your cupboards, allowing them to have a relatively short ingredient list.

  • We strive to keep our ingredients list as short as possible and focus on one ingredient. It's the best way we've found to introduce our babies to the true flavor of vegetables, without drowning the taste in gallons of water or always mixing them with potatoes!
  • We have fruit puree recipes with a single fruit that isn't cut with apple. This fruit makes up at least 85% of the recipe, and most often 99.9%.
  • Likewise, each bowl of vegetables contains a single vegetable that is never mixed with potatoes. This vegetable is present at a minimum of 60%.
  • Our stirred yogurts, on the other hand, strike the perfect balance between yogurt, fruit, and cereal. In addition to their sweetness, fruit provides natural sugar, so there's no added sugar. The cereals provide creaminess and flavor to awaken your child's sense of taste. They're more nutritionally and taste-wise interesting than the starch often used.
  • Our cereals with no added sugar so as not to get babies used to the sweet taste too early, most often complete with simple recipes to help babies discover the true taste of good cereals step by step.
  • Our squares are crunchy, melt-in-your-mouth multi-grain cookies that are guaranteed organic, with a delicious fruit flavor and less than 1 gram of sugar per serving (1 serving = 3 squares). They contain a delicious blend of cereals, milk, and fruit, the three key ingredients of a balanced diet.

Why is it expensive?

Good Goût offers organic recipes made from high-quality raw materials and meeting very strict requirements. We don't add water or potatoes indiscriminately, unlike some products on the market, where these ingredients can represent up to 50% of the composition. This uncompromising approach to quality is reflected in the price of our products.

To meet our customers' expectations, we regularly organize promotions in partnership with our distributor customers. Finally, we actively work on our business development, convinced that attracting new parents and their babies will allow us to increase our volumes, improve our purchasing, and, consequently, lower our sales prices, while maintaining the quality of our products.

Do you have any promotions?

We regularly run promotional offers. Look out for them in your nearest store to take advantage! We also launch sales offers on our e-shop; to make sure you don't miss out, sign up for our newsletter and follow us on social media!

Why do fruit pouches have two prices?

Depending on the recipe, some ingredients are more refined than others, such as figs. Please note that in all cases, we do our utmost to offer you the best products at the fairest price.

What are your commitments?

The first is to delight your babies and children with healthy, guaranteed organic recipes, focusing on taste, because taste can be learned! We highlight the true taste of fruits and vegetables by highlighting ingredients and offering ultra-short ingredient lists. We also involve a chef to find the right taste balance and add a touch of originality to our little dishes.

We have also worked on our packaging to make it practical and light, but also more eco-friendly: their manufacturing method allows us to preserve the flavor of the food but also to sterilize for a shorter time (so less energy spent!), their transport is less polluting (we put a lot more flexible bags than small glass jars in a truck), our parcel packaging is recyclable (we use kraft paper tape, and our boxes are produced from more than 60% recycled cardboard!). In addition, all our products should be thrown in the sorting bin! The sorting bin is there to help you recycle materials that can be used for the manufacture of new objects. By throwing your packaging in the designated bin, you actively contribute to the second life of Good Goût products!

Why have the prices of some products increased on the site?

Like many brands, we have had to increase prices on some of our products.
Indeed, we are experiencing an unprecedented increase in the costs of our organic raw materials, our packaging and our production costs.
Despite all our efforts to contain these increases, we are forced to pass on part of them in our sales prices, in order to continue to offer you quality products.
Our priority remains to offer your babies original and organic recipes that highlight a particular fruit or vegetable. The ingredients we use are all 100% organic and carefully selected to meet all the very strict criteria of the regulations on infant products. True to our commitments, we have chosen not to modify our recipes or our historical producers to continue to offer your babies recipes that put taste in the spotlight.

I can't find you in stores near my home

Good Goût is present in several thousand points of sale throughout France... and continues to grow!
Don't hesitate to ask for us in your favorite store if we are not there!
You can also place your orders on our online store https://www.biostime-nosmarques.com

Your snacks are expensive.

Good Goût offers guaranteed organic recipes, with quality raw materials that meet very strict requirements. Furthermore, we don't add apples to every sauce, a favorite ingredient in competing products. Finally, our 120-gram portions are more complete than those of the competition (90g). As a result, the production cost of Good Goût products is higher. Please note that to provide a solution to our less affluent customers, we regularly try to organize promotions in partnership with our distributor customers.

What analyses are carried out on your infant milks?

At Biostime & Inostime, quality is at the heart of our priority in order to guarantee you high-quality formulas that meet your baby's nutritional needs*.

To ensure this quality, we implement very strict analysis protocols that go beyond applicable regulatory requirements.

But what are these analyses? We'll tell you everything!

First, let's talk about the regulations surrounding infant milk.

Infant milks are regulated in France and Europe by Regulations (EU) 609/2013 and (EU) 2016/127, which set out composition criteria and authorized communication methods. These regulatory requirements were themselves developed based on an opinion from the EFSA (European Food Safety Authority), which takes into account the latest available scientific studies and is carried out according to guidelines established by recognized expert committees.

When infant milks are produced organically, additional regulatory requirements apply to the composition, production, processing, distribution, import, control and labelling of these products. These are detailed in particular in Regulations (EU) 2018/848 and (EU) 2021/1165 and must be applied because the finished products can only be marketed if they meet all the requirements incumbent on each link in the food chain: from the field to the point of sale (receipt of food ingredients and packaging materials, during manufacturing, on the finished product and during storage).

What are the mandatory analyses?

These are analyses that determine whether a batch or ingredient can be placed on the market or used in production. If one of them does not comply with the specifications and regulatory requirements, the batch or ingredient is rejected.

  • All our batches of infant milk are subject to systematic and regular analyses which are final:
  • nutritional analyses such as protein, vitamin or mineral content;
  • microbiological analyses to guarantee the health quality of our products;
  • analyses of contaminant residues such as heavy metals or mycotoxins.

In addition to these systematic analyses, we carry out analyses according to a pre-defined annual control plan, which is in addition to the one applied by our production partner. These mainly involve analyses relating to the search for contaminant residues such as pesticides, perchlorates, dioxins and PCBs.

Our production partner has a COFRAC-ISO 17025 accredited quality control laboratory (scope available at www.cofrac.fr). This accreditation, rarely obtained by an infant milk control laboratory, guarantees the laboratory's high level of technical expertise, and above all the reliability of its analytical results, allowing us to rigorously and precisely control all stages of manufacturing of our finished products to guarantee their total safety.

In total, more than 250 quality analyses and 3,000 checks are carried out on average to manufacture a batch of Biostime or Inostime infant milk powder, from the reception of the ingredients, packaging and collection of the milk from the farms to the dispatch of the finished products.

At Biostime & Inostime, we go beyond regulations.

In parallel and to go further, despite the greater confidence we place in the analyses and controls carried out by our partner on our products and which are an integral part of its health control plan, we also have additional control plans and monitoring plans that are just as strict and which even go beyond the analyses required of us by regulations. These analyses are carried out by accredited and independent external laboratories.

In conclusion

Thanks to our quality expertise, Biostime and Inostime infant formulas are developed to meet regulatory requirements and beyond, because the safety of little ones is and will always remain at the heart of our priorities.

Below is an example of analyses implemented as part of our annual control plans carried out in an independent external laboratory.
